Garment remodelling with purpose

Stitch Savvy works with garments that still have value, even when the fit, style, or construction no longer suits the wearer. Our focus is on practical remodelling, careful alterations, and upcycling that makes the most of what already exists.

Every project begins with an assessment of the fabric, seams, and construction so we can discuss what is realistic before any work is approved. That approach helps set clear expectations and keeps each redesign grounded in the garment itself.

Our story

How the studio works

Built for customers who want clothing to last longer, fit better, and stay meaningful.

Since 2018, Stitch Savvy has focused on tailoring and clothing alterations with a strong remodelling direction. The studio supports customers who want to update vintage pieces, rethink worn garments, or preserve sentimental clothing in a new form.

Our process is structured around inquiry, assessment, consultation, quote, approval, work, and collection. Fit is reviewed again at collection, and any final adjustment is handled carefully within the agreed design.

We also note where original thread or trim can be matched where available, and we keep alteration scopes in writing so the work remains clear from start to finish.

Practical values behind every project

A focused studio for thoughtful alterations, redesigns, and upcycling projects in Tân An.

01

Assessment first

We start with the garment in hand, not with assumptions. Fabric condition, seam allowances, and construction details guide what can be achieved and what should be adjusted in the concept.

02

Clear project scope

Redesigns are discussed before approval, with scope and quote based on the actual material and the requested fit. That keeps each project realistic and transparent.

03

Respect for materials

We aim to reuse strong parts of the original garment wherever possible. When the fabric or construction limits the result, we say so early and shape the plan around those limits.

04

Fit checked at collection

Collection includes a final fit check so the garment can be reviewed before it leaves the studio. That extra step helps confirm the agreed finish and any small final adjustment.
